                                My Music Perspective
I have always enjoyed music for as long as I can remember.
Unfortunately I have slowed down with concerts since I moved to Michigan for college. I guess I expected there to be more a few concerts on campus. I am unsure if there have been any, but none to my knowledge. Kalamazoo, Michigan is not exactly an ideal tour stop for more popular artists. They visit other Michigan cities usually and I would be so down to go to more of a low key concert for a not so well-known band, but I do not even know of any good places for events like that.  I feel some what disconnected from music. I haven't been to a concert since the summer. Occasionally small artists will come into my Direct Arts Encounter class but it feels more like class instead of a concert because of the fact that it literally it class. Every now and then I walk around with headphones but sometimes I just try to conserve my battery on my phone because I know I will not be going home anytime soon. I did a majority of listening to music in my car, but instead of driving to school I walk because even though I am paying a buttload for a parking pass I am so limited on parking. Anyways if any of y'all know of any places in Kalamazoo for music and or any fun concerts coming up drop your ideas in the comments below.
