5 Things I Learned From Being A Child
You learn from your mistakes. I have been making mistakes for eighteen years so I have learned a thing or two...
1. NEVER leave legos on the ground. It is basically the kid version of walking on nails.
2. How to have a free water park right in your back yard! Put a hose on top of your slide so water runs down it like a water slide and also put a slip n slide at the bottom of the slide.
3. The ground actually isn't lava... I hopped on couches and pillows to avoid the ground for years before I realized the truth.
4. The tooth fairy is NOT real. I had suspicion about the tooth fairy and my mom being the same person, so I marked every dollar bill in her purse with a pen in the corner before my mom knew I lost my tooth. I woke up in the morning with a dollar bill that had a pen mark in the corner...
5. You are not the make up artist you think you are when you are seven. Yes at the time you think you are an 11 out of 10 but if you saw a picture of what you looked like now you would cringe, I did at least.
Wow. This is quite interesting. The format is a nice format. Interesting way to start the blog instead of doing a paragraph. You choose to do a a list instead. Which is quite good. What are some other things you learned while in college?
ReplyDeleteStay tuned to find out..
DeleteThis blog post made me smile many times when reading it, my favorite part was reading about the dollar bill marked in the corner so you could find out if it was your mom or not was smart, it sounds like something I would do too! reading it made me smile, and I also worked in a daycare center where i could only remember from the place was stepping on toys and still to this day having scars from the little toy cars, I can only imagine how the legos feel!
DeleteI like this blog a lot. It could actually bring a little laugh out of some people because these things are true as you look back and think about them. Maybe you should have included some real life lessons unless your post was intended to be humorous. I say that because you stated you've been making mistakes all eighteen years but only stated the mistakes when you were younger, but again I understand that was the point of your blog. Overall you did a good job :)
ReplyDeleteYes it was intended to be a humorous post, but I only clarified my age on one of the five posts, so there is no proof I only stated mistakes I made when I was younger. I said eighteen years because I considered myself a child until I turned eighteen, the actual age of becoming an adult. Thank you for your feedback and generosity! :)
